On the night of December 16, 2025, a friendly match was held between the Puerto Rico women's 55+ master basketball team and the PR Ballers team, who will participate in the Pan-American Games to be held in El Salvador in February 2026. This game is part of the preparation for that event. It took place at the Recreation and Sports Department court in San Juan. Family and friends enjoyed the match, where both teams showcased their skills. The win went to the 55+ master team, with a score of 40-27, and the game's top scorer was #5 Maribel Santiago.
